Women of ALL ages are welcome to join together for fellowship, encouragement, and most importantly, being instructed in God’s word.
Our women's ministries serve in countless different ways to one another, to our church family, and to our community.
SPRING BIBLE STUDY
Wednesdays 9:15am & 6:30pm
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” John 13:34 (ESV)
All ladies are invited to join our weekly bible study on Wednesdays starting 01/14/26 through 05/06/26 at 9:15 – 11:30 am or 6:30 – 8:00pm.
"Closer Than a Sister – How Union with Christ helps Friendships to Flourish" by Christina Fox has been chosen for the spring semester. The book provides a thirteen-lesson series and we have added additional dates for a missionary speaker, potential snow makeup date, and a closing “Sister Celebration” party. On April 8th, the Wednesday after Easter, WBSF will not meet. Please consider inviting a friend or neighbor to attend. Child care is available for the morning session. See Sheena Doty to add your child for the semester or for specific date(s).
Books will be available for pick-up after worship service on Sundays in December & early January at the Information Counter in the narthex. Please sign the Book Received form when you pick up your book.
Women’s Bible Study & Fellowship (WBSF) will host our Christmas Reflections program on Saturday, December 6, 2025 in the Fellowship Hall from 9:30 – 11:30 am. Doors will open at 9:00 am. Our theme, Go Tell It On The Mountain, calls each of us to take the joyful message of our savior’s birth, life, death and resurrection to the world.
Our featured speaker will be Jenn Seda, volunteer US Sponsorship Coordinator for the Safe Girls Home of Senegal, which is overseen by Mission to the World (MTW) and West African Reformed Mission (WARM). She has presented on behalf of the Safe Girls Home and Teranga Village at all eight of the PCA Women’s Made for More Conferences in 2024-2025. Jenn has been a member and served in a variety of PCA churches since she was 14 years old, but she calls Grace Church in Dover home. She will share insights on how we can live missionally – both here in the U.S. and abroad.
The program will include selected readings, special music, a children’s story, and the opportunity to give towards a Christmas offering for missionary children. A brunch buffet will be provided for both adults & children (kindergarten age to 11 years old). Our international menu will include: Poached Pears, Create Your Own Rice Bowls with your choice of grilled chicken, beef and/or roasted veggies, chopped salad with choice of dressing, and assorted cookies. In keeping with our international theme, please consider wearing a nation's traditional outfit to the event. Childcare for infant through pre-K will be available and needs to be scheduled at registration.
Registrations will be accepted on November Wednesday mornings during WBSF (starting 11/05) and Sundays after worship in the Narthex (starting 11/09). The final day to register is Sunday, November 23rd, the weekend before Thanksgiving. Please plan to bring cash or a check payable to WBSF for yourself and any guests you would like to invite. Costs this year are as follows:
Age 12 through adult: $15.00 each
Age K–11: $8.00 each
Same-household maximum: $30.00
And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.” Luke 2:10 (ESV)
Outreach to Moms
We are delighted to host Morning MomCo and MomCo Evening at EP Church. This is a joint effort of older and younger women designed to welcome and encourage moms in our community.
