EP PALS
EP PALS is a ministry designed for children in Kindergarten to 5th grade to be matched with adults in the church. This program runs during the school year - September to May. After a family signs up their child, he or she will be matched with an adult PAL for the school year (girls will have a female PAL, boys will have a male PAL). There are three meetings during the school year, one at the beginning, middle, and end of the school year - all on Sunday evenings, and not on Sunday Celebration Evenings. These meetings will include dinner, an activity to get to know each other, dessert, etc. This is designed for the younger kids to get to know the adults of the congregation and vice versa, build relationships and community, and learn from each other. The hope is that communication continues throughout the school year at the church by a casual talk on Sundays before or after the service, a fist bump hello, birthday card, etc. All meetings and communication will be held on the church premises and there is no cost involved.
