Wednesday Night Supper
This Fall we are not only renovating our Wednesday Night Program by beginning with corporate worship, but we’re renovating our Wednesday Night Supper.
EPCafe (one of many possible new names for the dinner service – Pastors are open to suggestions) is headed up by Amy Houston and Dory Zinkand who will be working with teams to develop low-cost, seasonal, fresh meals for guests and members of EPC prior to the Wednesday Night Program. Amy and Dory have extensive experience in teaching culinary skills and preparing meals for large groups.

(Amy is hosting a culinary skills night on August 31st for the congregation, not just for those who plan to help on Wed. Nights – click here to learn more)
While Amy and Dory will be doing most of the recipe making, food-costing, and hands-on oversight, we are in great need of youth and adults willing to help prepare and serve the meals. For Wednesday Night Suppers to continue to be a means of facilitating fellowship, welcoming people into Wed. night ministries, and serving our community, we need your help.
Specifically, we need volunteers willing to serve one Wednesday a year, one Wednesday a semester, or one Wednesday a month. With Amy and Dory’s vast experience and hands-on guidance, we don’t need master chefs (though we wouldn’t refuse them); we need volunteers willing to learn and to work.
Below is a form we would like you to fill out. Let us know the best way to get in touch with you, how often you can serve, and how many you might be able to bring with you to help you serve on that Wednesday. Amy or Dory will be in touch with you a.s.a.p. Thanks so much.
